BS7083 – 50 AMPS PANEL MOUNT THERMAL CIRCUIT BREAKER

The circuit breaker is an essential device in the battery industry and one of the most important safety mechanisms. Blue sea system circuit breakers are switch designed to break (open) a 12 volts circuit automatically, to protect your system components, when it is subjected to abnormal conditions or bad wiring. Once the problem is corrected, a circuit breaker can simply be reset, unlike a fuse, which must be replaced.

WEATHER RESISTANT
- Allows temporary immersion for 30 minutes and up to one meter deep.

"TRIP FREE"
- If the circuit breaker trips (the circuit is open, breakers is “off”) even if someone tries to hold the reset lever in (to close the circuit), the breaker wont allow a reset until the problem is fixed.

IGNITION PROTECTED
- Safe installation for gasoline powered boats. Ignition protected equipment are specially designed to prevent fire or explosion. Achieved by sealing the electric parts of the breaker hermetically to prevent sparks or to prevent heat transfer to the atmosphere.
