Tailored Absorption Charging for AGM batteries

The IQ-AGM optimizes charging for AGM (Absorbed Glass Matt) batteries by delivering a BULK/FINISH charge before reverting to the FLOAT stage.

Charging Profile

The IQ-AGM takes the following steps to charge your battery:

BULK - FINISH­
The Bulk State charges the battery at an optimal voltage level (which reduces charging time), then holds it for a predetermined 'finishing' period.
FLOAT­
Once the battery is fully-charged, it maintains a full charge in Float mode. Float charging also reduces the risk of "gassing."
MAINTENANCE­
If the battery has been in Float mode for 7 days, the IQ will automatically reinitiate a bulk charge to ensure the battery remains fully-charged.

Installation

Simply plug the IQ Smart Charge Controller into the Dual Voltage Jack* of your IOTA DLS Battery Charger.

The IQ Smart Charge circuitry and the IQ module will then activate automatically, allowing your DLS to charge your batteries, trouble-free!

*Location of the Dual Voltage Jack may vary depending on the IOTA DLS model

Note: External IOTA IQ Smart Charge Controllers are not compatible with DLS chargers with internal IQ charge control.
