The Cabin Apex E-Series Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) puts you in command of your home's energy — wherever you've put down roots. When the grid goes down, you won't. The battery acts as your home’s personal power bank, receiving power from solar panels, the grid or a generator, storing for later use so your lights stay on and your essentials keep running through outages.

Solar – If you have solar panels, the BESS is how you unlock their full potential by turning them into a full backup solution. Store free solar power when the sun is shining to use overnight or during long power outages, even to charge your EV.

Grid – Unlike a standby generator, the BESS works to save you money every day. Charge when rates are low and power your home when rates are high. Sell your excess energy back to your grid provider to lower your bill or even get cash back (region dependant).

Generator – Any generator can charge the BESS. If a power outage lasts several days or weeks and you have no solar, connect a portable generator for several hours to charge the battery back to full, then disconnect and continue enjoying silent battery backup.

The BESS can be installed indoors by any electrician in a few hours, without special training. There’s no fuel, concrete pad, gasfitters or other trades needed.
